Growing up, I loved Rice Krispies Treats; I remember when the Rice Krispies Treats cereal came out; oh my goodness!! Now that I’m older and wiser, I’ve stayed away from those processed little bars. But still wanting my little one to be able to enjoy the fun of Rice Krispies Treats without the junk, I decided to modify. And to make it even better for everyone, I’ve made my Rice Krispies Treats (really Erewhon Crispy Brown Rice Treats) gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and peanut free. Snap, Crackle, Pop!!
What You’ll Need:
3+ Cups Erewhon Rice Twice Cereal
1 Container (10 ounce) Suzanne’s Ricemellow Creme
Spray of Olive Oil (I use the Misto)
What You’ll Do:
Spray a little olive oil into a sauce pan, melt the Ricemellow over medium heat. Once melted, combine with Crispy Rice Cereal. Spray a baking pan (with relatively high sides–I know it’s not precise, but just use what you’ve got) and add the mixture. Put it in your fridge for about an hour. Cut into bars and ENJOY!
