Before the Workshop Starts

Your experience starts when you come to my office for metabolism testing.

This 10 minute breathing test takes all the guess work out of weight management.  Metabolism varies a lot from person to person, and although calculators and formulas might get you close, this quick and easy test definitively determines how your metabolism functions. Within a few minutes, you can find out exactly how many calories your body needs to lose, gain or maintain. You can know once and for all if you have a slow, normal, or fast burning metabolism. Learn precisely how many calories your body burns at rest, and you can rest assured that you will get the results you are after.

  • In order to get the most accurate test results, please remember the following:

    • NO eating for 4 hours prior to your test
    • NO drinking (anything but water) 4 hours prior to your test
    • NO exercising or any physical activity prior to your test
    • NO stimulants (such as caffeine from tea, coffee and soda or nicotine) prior to your test
    • Walk slowly and don’t rush to your appointment; take the elevator instead of the stairs

  • Body Composition Testing is also included with this appointment. I’ll break down your BMI, body fat and muscle percentage, visceral fat and give you your metabolic age. Note: your metabolic rate and body composition are totally private, and this information will not be shared in the class setting.

Class Session 1: Foundations

To build something great, you’ve got to set a firm foundation, and this week is all about you setting that foundation.

This first session is designed to motivate you and get you headed in the right direction. I’ll teach you the truth about weight management, go over the results of your metabolism testing, get you started with your meal plans. I promise to be fun and inspiring.

Class Session 2: Core Principles

I want you to think like a nutrition expert; I want to get you thinking exactly like me.

I want you to know what I know so that you can make the choices that will keep you healthy and strong. The key to making those choices are based on my Core Principles. Once you’ve got the foundation set (eating with purpose, eating to your metabolism, and eating high quality foods), the framework of the Core Principles will keep you building in the right direction.

  • You’ll also be getting your calorie customized Week 2 Meal Plan and Grocery List. Some meals in the Week 2 Meal Plan include: Chicken, Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Wrap, Tilapia with Rosemary Roasted Vegetables, Banana Cinnamon Steel Cut Oatmeal, Salmon Roasted with Shallot & Mango Rice with Scallions.
  • And don’t forget, you’ll also have continued access to the online meal and exercise tracking tool + ongoing support.

Class Session 3: Labels Matter

We live in a world where junk food rules and health food isn’t really healthy.

And sometimes, it’s really hard to know what foods to buy and eat. So the tendency is to replace nutrient dense foods with seemingly “healthy” food-like-products. My goal for you in this session is to teach you how to separate the good from the bad. I want you to comfortably shop, easily read food labels and be inspired to make the right choices. At the end of this session, you’re going to have a totally fresh perspective on how to choose the foods you eat.

I’ve got a session that’s gonna rock your eating while out world. I’m going to take you through a step-by-step process to eating out the right way. I’ll cover the ins and outs. We’ll talk about everything from what to order when at a restaurant to how deal with food pushers. No more belly bloat or feeling tired & worn out after eating out. You’re going to make it happen the right way.
