If you’re like us, this month’s calendar is totally jammed with weddings and weekend trips, birthdays and baptisms, play dates and projects, business and busyness! It’s so important to pack your  bag with a few healthy on-the-go snacks (especially when you’re like me toting around a two year old!). Don’t get caught hungry and at a hot dog stand. If you fail to plan, you can plan to fail. You have to know before you go. I thought you might enjoy a few fun suggestions of foods you can eat while in transit.

Although Fresh is always best, I am really into these delicious Just Fruit and Veggies.  All natural freeze-dried snacks are deliciously low in calories and high in nutrients. Try corn, peas, tomatoes, cranberries, cherries, blackberries, cherries, apricots, grapes, pineapple, strawberries and my personal favorite persimmons!  Like all the snacks I recommend, there is no added sugar.

For a protein, fat and carb balanced on-the-go mini-meal, try toasting a Sprouted Wheat Sesame Bagel, throw on a little Spectrum Canola Mayo and add Applegate Turkey, sprouts, lettuce and tomato.

Lately, my little man has been jonesing for burritos! I love the Evol Brand. All of the ingredients are natural, and you can pronounce them. Heat then leave-Easy to make and easy to take!

In warm weather, it’s nice to cool down with a frozen treat. So Delicious Coconut Milk Minis truly are sooo delicious. Food on a stick is great when on the go.
