Combining nutritious ingredients is a key to your health success. There’s no one ingredient that’s the be-all, end-all holy grail of well-being. Finding your best health means finding great combinations or real food ingredients that will nourish your body and give you energy. In this dish, grapefruit will fill you up with vitamin C and give you a powerful antioxidant brunch. A drizzle of raw honey will boost your immune system (love that propolis). The plant sterols in pecans can lower your cholesterol, and that dash of cinnamon can stabilize blood sugar.

Broiled Grapefruit with Organic Greek Yogurt and Toasted Pecans
What you’ll need
1 Whole, Ripe Grapefruit
1 Dollop of Organic Plain Greek Yogurt (switch it up with my favorite Icelandic Skyr Yogurts made by Siggi’s or make it Vegan with Amande)
1 Drizzle Organic Raw Honey (Veganize it by using pure Organic Maple Syrup instead)
1 Small Handful of Pecans
1 Sprinkle of Cinnamon

What you’ll do
Turn on your broiler. Cut your grapefruit in half, and place each half right side up on a baking sheet. Drizzle your raw honey or maple syrup on top and put the fruit under the broiler for 2-3 minutes. Wait for the grapefruit to cool a bit and dollop on your favorite (no sugar added) yogurt. Toss on the pecans (I love to toast mine first) and sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
