If You Don’t Like Where You’re Headed, Change Your Direction.

It’s so hard to believe that 2013 is right around the corner, and it’s wild to think that another year is just about behind us. Do you have a second?!? I want you to pause, and I want you take inventory of how it all went. Come on now, be honest.

Motivation to Change | Dr. Kristen BentsonI am beyond hopeful that you look back and feel like you rocked it. I hope you feel like you were confident, disciplined, strong and committed. I hope you dominated those workouts, had fabulous nutrient rich foods on your plate each day, and managed your stress like a mental health expert. But let’s get real…Let’s just say for a moment those things didn’t exactly happen. Let’s just say that you had a super sedentary year filled with processed foods and work/family/financial pressure that sucked you dry. Well, to those of you who muddled through, I will join you as you bid adieu to 2012.

Let’s give a big wave and say a dramatic good bye. Why?!? Because GONE ARE THE DAYS. Hear me out; gone are the days of clothes too tight, wilted energy levels, and shoddy health. Gone are the days of stress levels that made you feel like you had only one nostril above water. Gone are the days of weakness and deconditioning that had you puffing as you climbed that flight of stairs. Here to come and here to stay are the days of strength, health, vitality and skinny jeans.

Here’s the plan. If you don’t like where you’re headed, change your direction. I am committed to show you how. In 2013, I am going to focus all my energy on empowering you.  You see, we’ve got  to change the face of healthcare from pills and procedures to nutrition, movement and stress management. We need to radically reform “HEALTHcare.”

Remember, the secret of getting ahead is getting started. It’s the hardest part.
