Nothing beats a warm mug of HoCho on a cold winter day. The only problem with this hot treat is the sugar rush that follows shortly after you’ve drank the last drop. I’ve got the perfect answer to your cocoa wishes!!
What You’ll Need:
Unsweetened Plant-Based Milk (my favorites are Milkadamia and Rice Dream)
Hershey’s Natural Unsweetened Cocoa
Pure Maple Syrup
Optional:
Fresh Organic Heavy Cream for Whipping
OR Nature’s Charm Coconut Whipping Cream
What You’ll Do:
For the Hot Chocolate: This recipe totally depends on your taste buds! Here’s what I do. In a saucepan, heat 4 cups of plant-based milk; once it’s good and hot, very briskly whisk in about 1 tbsp cocoa. If you love your HoCho chocolaty, add more cocoa!! You’ve to really use your wrist and make it super foamy. Next, add in about 1 tbsp of pure maple syrup (more or less to taste).
For Fresh Whipped Cream: In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup organic heavy cream or coconut whipping cream and 1 tbsp of maple syrup (more or less to taste). Beat cream with a high powered mixer until fully whipped.
